In an escalating corruption investigation involving the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia, a Maltese investigative journalist, the Maltese Prime Minister's Chief of Staff has resigned alongside two senior government ministers. Galizia was killed two years ago in a car bomb attack which shocked the world. She was investigating the involvement of several Maltese political figures in high level corruption scandals.
