PORT LOUIS, MAURITIUS - Welcome to Port Louis, the capital city of Mauritius and today we’ll be going on an extreme 14 hour Mauritian street food tour. From unique tikka sandwiches to local noodles and street bbq, we’re in for some of the delicious Mauritian street food in the country!

Tikka Renaissance (https://maps.app.goo.gl/7PVU5gr79iv46PKdA) - This legendary street stall is famous for their tikka sandwich, unlike any other tikka I’ve ever had. Price - 50 MUR ($1.08) per sandwich
Dholl Puri Palace (https://maps.app.goo.gl/tift3LjyAfTZWijBA) - Probably the top Mauritian street food, you can’t miss this incredible dholl puri. Price - 20 MUR ($0.43) per dholl puri
Roger Snack (https://maps.app.goo.gl/xJcKdQrjVwJeFkL49) - This tiny little restaurant is known for their Mauritian Chinese noodles. Price - 100 MUR ($2.15) per plate
Continuing with our Mauritian street food tour we tried gateau piment (fried chili pakora) at Moussa Snack and the legendary Alouda Pillay for falouda at the market.
Chasseur - Next up we were invited to eat home cooked Mauritian food, especially venison. This meal was family cooked and fantastic. The stall is called Chasseur, located at the Le Caudan Waterfront.
Pakistan Hotel - This legendary spot is famous for snacks and tea.
Abu Dhabi Grill - Finally at night we headed to Abu Dhabi Grill for a taste of the unique style of Mauritian bbq. We enjoyed grilled lamb and especially her chicken. Price - 700 MUR ($15.08) for everything
Port Louis is and calm and exciting city and there’s no doubt you’ll find some unbelievable Mauritian street food to try!
