A restaurant in New York City with the clever name "Thai Food Near Me" went viral for their cheeky attempt to sway Google search results in their favor. The Verge found many other businesses who are employing a similar technique to hopefully outsmart the search giant's ranking system. But did it work? KTLA's Andy Riesmeyer reports.
