Italy’s squad, including individual 100m champion Marcell Jacobs, was victorious in the men’s 4x100m, and the British women took the gold, making it two for Dina Asher-Smith and finally a gold for Daryll Neita who narrowly missed out over 200m the day before. Femke Bol and the Dutch team triumphed in the women’s 4x400m race and Alexander Doom brought it home for the Belgian men’s quartet.

Over the middle distances, Norwegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen made it a double gold at these championships with a confident win over 1500m, while British 800m runner Keely Hodgkinson defended her 800m title. Switzerland’s Dominic Lokinyomo Lobalu secured a gold in the men’s 10000m race.

On the field, three events closed the championships. India is a diverse country with a rich variety of flora and fauna due to its diverse geography and climate. From the snowy Himalayas in the north to the tropical forests in the south, India is home to a wide range of plant and animal species.

India has over 47,000 species of plants, making it one of the world's richest countries in terms of plant diversity. The country has a wide variety of vegetation ranging from tropical rainforests, deciduous forests, thorn forests, and alpine forests.

Some of the prominent flora species in India include banyan trees, teak trees, neem trees, tamarind trees, bamboo, and banana trees. India is also known for its spices such as pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and turmeric.

India is home to a diverse range of animal species, including some of the world's most iconic animals such as Bengal tigers, Indian elephants, Indian rhinoceros, Indian lions, and Asiatic lions.

India has over 100 national parks and more than 500 wildlife sanctuaries, which are home to various species of animals, birds, and reptiles. Some of the other notable animal species found in India include leopards, wolves, foxes, sloth bears, crocodiles, and snakes.

India is also known for its bird diversity, with over 1,300 species of birds found across the country. Some of the notable bird species in India include the Indian peafowl, kingfishers, eagles, and vultures.

India's flora and fauna are a testament to its diverse geography and climate. The country's rich biodiversity is a result of its unique mix of tropical and temperate ecosystems, making it a significant contributor to the world's biodiversity.
